A delegation led by the Hokim of the Navoi region, Normat Tursunov, and the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Belarus, Nuriddin Mamajonov, held talks with the Chairman of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee, Ivan Krupko, and the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus, Inspector for the Gomel Region, Yuri Valevati.

The main goal of the meeting was to strengthen interregional cooperation, expand industrial cooperation, and increase mutual trade turnover as part of the implementation of the instructions of the two heads of state.

Following the meeting, the parties approved a detailed "roadmap" and signed a substantive Action Plan for cooperation between the Gomel and Navoi regions for 2026-2027.
