Upon arrival in the capital of Belarus, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev laid a wreath at the Victory Monument today, the correspondent of the Dune news agency reports.

According to the press service of the head of our state, the national anthems of the two countries were performed by a military orchestra. A solemn march of the soldiers of the honor guard company took place.

The main events of the visit will take place on July 9th. The leaders of Uzbekistan and Belarus will hold high-level talks at the Palace of Independence.
