From January to July 2025, Uzbekistan exported 25.2 thousand tons of cherries to 17 countries, totaling USD 51 million in value, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the National Statistics Committee, the largest volume of exports went to Russia, with 18.2 thousand tons, followed by Kazakhstan (3.6 thousand tons), Kyrgyzstan (2.7 thousand tons), Belarus (232 tons), Iraq (127 tons), the UAE (126 tons), and Latvia (34 tons). An additional 93 tons were exported to other countries.
Experts note that, cherry exports continue to be a hallmark of Uzbekistan’s fruit and vegetable sector, reflecting strong international demand and strengthening the country’s position as a leading supplier of fresh fruit on the global market.
