
A welcoming ceremony for President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who is on an official visit to Belarus, was held today at the Palace of Independence in Minsk, the correspondent of the Dune news agency reports.
According to the press service of the head of our state, the national flags of the two countries were hung on the square in front of the palace and an honor guard was lined up.
The leader of Uzbekistan was warmly welcomed by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
The national anthems were played.
The leaders walked around the guard of honor and greeted the members of the official delegations.
After taking photos together, negotiations at the highest level began.
