President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Minsk on an official visit today, the correspondent of the Dune news agency reports.

According to the press service of the head of our state, at the international airport of the Belarusian capital, the head of our state was met by Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Turchin, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov and other officials.

The national flags of the two countries were raised and a guard of honor was formed in honor of the distinguished guest.

In accordance with the program of the visit, Uzbek-Belarusian high-level talks will be held on July 9.
