A delegation of representatives from the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and various business entities participated in the "Belagro-2026" international exhibition and fair, held from June 2nd to 6th in Minsk, the capital of the Republic of Belarus. This event serves to broadly promote the export potential of Uzbekistan's agro-industrial complex in the international arena, establish new trade connections, and further strengthen the trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
As part of the exhibition, the "Uzagrostar" holding company, under the Ministry of Economy and Finance, is participating with Uzbekistan's national stand, presenting agricultural and food products grown in our country to foreign partners. The national stand allows visitors to become closely acquainted with the capabilities of Uzbekistan's agro-industrial sector, the quality of its products, and its export destinations.
The national stand of Uzbekistan, in particular, sparked great interest among the exhibition's participants and guests. Notably, during the official opening ceremony of the exhibition, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Yuri Shuleyko and Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus Andrey Yakovchits visited the Uzbekistan stand, where they closely examined the showcased products and the export opportunities presented.
Additionally, during the event, B2B meetings are being organized with representatives of more than 10 major retail chains from the Republic of Belarus. Specifically, negotiations are being held with Eurotorg, Santa Retail, BelVillesden, GRINroznitsa, UniStore Group, Resttrade, and other major retailers to discuss the supply of Uzbek products to the Belarusian market, the expansion of trade volumes, and the development of long-term partnerships.
