Embassy staff visited a dormitory where citizens of Uzbekistan working at the “Mekanstroygroup” and “Azimut Business Group” enterprises in the capital of Belarus reside, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the visit, the living conditions of our compatriots were examined, as well as issues arising in their labour activities. Following the meeting, an agreement was reached with the employer to address the identified problems.
Additionally, a preventive discussion was conducted with the citizens regarding the regulations for staying in Belarus, the necessity of strict compliance with current legislation, the impermissibility of participation in religious-extremist movements and other relevant matters.
It was also established that one of our compatriots needed to return to Uzbekistan but faced financial difficulties. In this regard, contact was established with the “Worknet” private employment agency (the company that had deployed the citizen to work in Belarus), resulting in the agency purchasing an air ticket for the Minsk–Tashkent route.
