Today, a cooperation document was signed between the Institute of Legislation and Legal Policy under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Center for Legislation and Legal Information of Belarus. An internship program for representatives of four leading higher educational institutions of the Andijan region has begun at the P.M. Masherov Vitebsk State University

This project was organized within the framework of cooperation agreements between the Andijan and Vitebsk regions. About 40 teachers and students from Uzbekistan are participating in it. Within the framework of the program, professional development courses for professors and teachers, master classes for students, joint projects, and cultural events will be held. During a business trip to the Vitebsk region, representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Belarus held meetings with citizens of Uzbekistan temporarily working in the region, studying their working and living conditions. Negotiations were held with employers and local authorities, citizens were explained the procedures for consular registration, and hotlines were provided to contact the Embassy in case of emergencies.
At the end of the meeting, our compatriots were given the necessary recommendations on strict compliance with the rules of legal stay abroad.

Emphasis was placed on the need to ensure the full functioning of the free trade zone without restrictions;

The importance of eliminating technical barriers, ensuring mutual recognition of certificates of conformity, and expanding access to public procurement was emphasized;

Hope was expressed for the early coordination and approval of the Agreement on expanding mutual market opening in the field of public procurement of agricultural products, as well as the Program of Cooperation in the field of food security;

It was proposed to introduce a mechanism of mutual notification and consultation before introducing restrictions on the export of food and fertilizers;

The expediency of creating integrated logistics centers, significantly reducing transit costs, unifying freight transportation rules, and forming a unified transport information system in the CIS was noted;

The initiative of the Turkmen side to declare 2029 the Year of Transport Connectivity of the Commonwealth was supported;

The need for a long-term forecast for the development of the region's energy connectivity in the coming decades was noted;

The need for the accelerated introduction of low-carbon technologies and the development of closed-loop production was emphasized. To unite efforts, it was proposed to develop a concept for cooperation in the field of resource efficiency and the circular economy of the CIS;

It was noted that there are good opportunities for the further development of cultural and humanitarian ties by expanding the format of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation;

It was proposed to organize a forum "Cultural Policy and Creative Industries";

In the field of combating cybercrime, it was proposed to instruct the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs to develop a set of measures to create a Joint CIS Contact Center.
